With girls golf underway and the team headed back to Bloomer this Thursday, Head Coach Devon Wenndt shared his thoughts on how things have gone thus far.
“The first half of our season was very practice-heavy, and the second half is laden with competitive rounds,” he said. “We have had a very productive three weeks of practice thus far, as well as two opportunities to compete and establish a baseline of where we are at with regards to team scoring. After another match this week (Thursday at Bloomer), we spend the rest of the season playing three matches a week. Time to see where our practice has brought us. I’m very proud of how far our beginning golfers have come, and happy with the strides our more experienced players have made as well.”
