Timothy Jeffery Galvez, a beloved husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, and friend to many passed away on July 1, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Houston Texas. He was born on August 21, 1979, in Jacksonville North Carolina to his birth parents Oreca Galvez and Daniel Galvez. Tim’s memory will forever be cherished by his wife Shannon Leigh Galvez; daughter Nova; stepsons Liam, Vincent, Austin; Mother and stepfather Oreca Maas (Tony Maas); Mother Susan Galvez-Hall (David Hall); siblings Daniel Galvez II, Curtis Galvez, Rebecca Galvez and Sarah Galvez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Raised in various states including Texas, North Carolina, Hawaii, and Wisconsin. Tim graduated from Stanley Boyd High School Class of 1998. His passion for knowledge led him to St. Marys University where he studied Theology and Philosophy. A true adventurer at heart, Tim ventured out to Louisiana to work the oil fields before returning back to Texas to complete an HVAC degree. In early 2020 he started his own business which became a source of pride for him.

It was during this time that Tim met the love of his life Shannon with whom he settled down and became a devoted stepfather to three handsome boys. Their family grew even more when they welcomed their beautiful daughter Nova into the world in 2021. Tragically, it wasn’t long after her birth that Tim received the devastating diagnosis of cancer. Yet, like the warrior he was, Tim fought bravely until God called him home.

Tim had many passions throughout his life. Growing up he loved music, soccer and baseball. As an adult he was an avid deep-sea fisherman who found solace on the open waters. He had an unwavering love for music, enjoyed rebuilding antique vehicles, and delighted in cooking up delicious BBQ feasts for his loved ones. Tim also found joy in playing guitar, writing songs, and sharing them with those around him. His infectious spirit touched countless lives, making him a hero to many.

In remembrance of Timothy Jeffery Galvez, a Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2024 , at Riverview Lions Pavilion in Cadott, Wisconsin.
