Grab your costumes and mark your calendars! The Stanley Community Association’s fourth Annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 9am to noon at Chapman Park. With over 800 children in attendance last year and twenty businesses signed up already, the event is sure to be a hit!
But wait! There’s more! The City of Stanley’s 1st Annual Downtown Candy Crawl will be held on October 31st from 3pm to 5pm. Pick up a map from City Hall or on the City of Stanley website or Facebook page and visit local businesses as they hand out yummy treats. Businesses participating in the fun include Forward Bank, Stanley City Hall, Stanley Tire, Citizens State Bank, The Stanley Republican, Bliss Salon, Broadway Home Boutique, Hansen’s IGA, Cody’s Classic Cars, Fastlane Detailing, Stanley Police Department, Hazuga’s True Value, Stanley Fire Department, Kelly Grill, Martino’s, and 1881 Nutrition. Any businesses still interested in joining the Candy Crawl can contact City Hall by October 17th to be included.
Still craving more treats? Trick or Treat hours for the City of Stanley will continue from 5pm to 8 pm. Put on your costumes, grab those candy bags, and get ready for an evening filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of delicious treats!
