Coming off last week with one win and two losses, the Orioles stand at 8-11 overall as they head into their regional against Osseo-Fairchild May 23.
With the Orioles winning against Durand-Arkansaw Monday 8-4 after losses 1-13 and 10-11 tto Osseo-Fairchild Tuesday and Thursday, head coach Ryan Sturm shared his thoughts on what the team needs to do to advance past this Thursday’s regional.
“We need to play cleaner baseball,” Sturm said. “We have been making too many errors and throwing the ball around the field. If we can make the routine plays and play smart baseball we will have a great chance to win on Thursday.”
The Orioles meet the Thunder Thursday May 23 at home.
Game start is 5 p.m.
