Martino’s Restaurant raises over $8,000 for local fire needs at Saturday Pizza and Fire Prevention Fundraiser

Things were busy Saturday at Martino’s, with members of the Boyd and Stanley Fire Departments as well as Martino’s employees working to make sure the once a year fundraiser went smoothly. With large one topping pizzas $18 and small $12 for the vent, all proceeds from the day will go to local fire needs.
It could set a record.
“Just sales were over $8,000,” co-owner Megan Junker shared after the fundraiser. “Which appears to be a record!” Donations will also be factored into the final total, the goal being to help local departments. Dine in and take out were available along with drive through.
Outside Martino’s Saturday, the Stanley Ladder Truck was on display along with Stanley Fire Rescue and Boyd Medic 1 Ambulance. Event attendees could get tours and demonstrations from local firefighters, while a bouncy house on the nearby lawn offered a place for the little ones to get their energy out.
Now under new management, the Pizza and Fire Prevention Fundraiser at Martino’s Saturday was again a success!
