The SCA and Martino’s Restaurant is happy to announce our September High Five Award winner, the Stanley Theater. Since 1968, the Eslinger family has owned and operated the Stanley Theater. They have provided a genuine movie theater experience at a family friendly price, leaving little left over for themselves. For decades, they have given our community free holiday shows that include meetings with Santa, the Easter Bunny and beloved movie characters. They offer dollar movies in the summer and specials throughout the year that make it possible for so many people to enjoy the movies that could otherwise not do so. The theater sponsors many other community events as well, showing their support for other community groups. After the 2021 tornado, they supported the community by offering food, warmth, and a distraction from the difficult time. Of course, we have to mention they also provide delicious popcorn! Thank you to all the Stanley Theater owners and staff for all you do for our community! Stanley is a better place because of you all.
