Wesley Waffles delights with joy and laughter at the D.R. Moon Memorial Library

The D.R. Moon Memorial Library hosted “Wesley Waffles” a children’s entertainer at the Library on July 23. The engaging character was created by singer-songwriter, Christian Strutz, to bring high-energy, interactive music to children and families that everyone could enjoy. Based out of Milwaukee, Strutz, known for his vibrant presence, performs his music at various venues in Wisconsin and Minnesota, where he invites children to explore their own creativity and see the world through imaginative lenses. At the Tuesday show, Strutz encouraged the attendees to “get up and dance” and children of all ages joined in the fun, moving and grooving to the lively music and interactive dance routines. His performance served as a wonderful reminder of the power of imagination, the importance of celebrating individuality, and the joy of letting go and having fun.
The D.R. Moon Memorial Library continues to provide children in the community with programs that support educational growth and strengthen community ties by bringing families together for memorable and meaningful activities. The current summer program, Adventure Begins at Your Library, is open to all at stanleylibrary.beanstack.org. The library’s end of the summer celebration is this week on August 1st at 2PM, and everyone is welcome! By continually expanding its offerings and ensuring accessibility, the D.R. Moon Memorial Library remains a cornerstone in providing enriching experiences and supporting lifelong learning.
