Stanley and Boyd area residents will soon have a chance to try authentic Chinese and Mexican cuisine, all while helping a good cause.
Faith Free Evangelical Church at 705 Madison Street is putting on a dinner August 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. to help raise money towards college tuition for the children of missing Liberian pastor Titus Davis, who disappeared three years ago and is still missing. The dinner fee is a free will donation, with Chinese dumplings and Mexican tamales among the foods to be had with carryout available as well. A donation based bake sale will also be held. All proceeds from the dinner go to support the education of Pastor Davis’ children. Considered to be a trustworthy individual, Davis was last seen getting into a taxi near his home on June 24, 2021.
He remains missing.
Come out to Faith Free August 3 and help Pastor Davis’ children with school expenses while supporting a good cause.
