Reached prior to regionals Wednesday, May 21, Oriole boys golf coach Devon Wenndt shared on the season thus far:
“Northern Bay was a fantastic experience for our kids despite playing it in less than ideal weather conditions,” he said. “It’s not very often that our students get to play a resort type course such as Northern Bay, and each player agreed that it was their favorite course they had played this year (even with the pouring rain). Two of our golfers (Carson Oemig and Carsen Woodcock) both shot their best 18 hole rounds of the year, and hopefully this can be a solid stepping stone for the remainder of the season.”
